New York's MSG with a fair amount of new material in the set list. Awesome show at.
I've been listening and watching these guys since the mid eighties and except for a hiatus in the 90s have continued to love each CD released in the 21st century.
The stage looked great and the expected props were all present. The energy and enthusiasm of the band was matched by the packed house audience. I was exhausted by the end of the night. A good sign.
They still rock and have more energy than bands half their age. And yes, there were young and old alike at the show. I really can't say enough about the progress of their musical vision over the last fifteen years.
A little thin on the side and second level where I was sitting, but pretty good. Sometimes the solos get a bit blurred, but that's the nature of an arena. High quality earplugs would help, but I forgot them. DOH!
I have faves from the past, but I always want to hear as much of the new as possible.
It was loud, but the sound was good.
liking the next even more than the previous and they do not disappoint.
